GONE ARE THE DAYS

Gone are the days when I used to turn my head to every girl I used to encounter

Now , I just pass by, sans any glance, and bother

Gone are the days when I used to chase in disc, the shortest of all skirts

Now are the days, I take care , to remove all the dirt and crease of the school uniform skirts

Gone are the days when I used to treat a smile as an invitation

Now are the days, when the cute smile on a little face, as the reason of my elation

Gone are the days when I wished , my girl clings on to me , on my bike

Now are the days, when I wish, my little girl grasp me, to save her dear life

Gone are the days, when I hold my girl’s hand to initiate a romantic encounter

Now are the days, I hold my cute little’s hand, to protect her from getting hurt and flounder

Gone are the days when , I used to get lost in the aura of the beauty of my female partner

Now are days , smitten by innocence, keep staring the cute little faces, being quite enamored

Never ever thought, such a day will I have to face

The advent, proved to be as evolutionary, as the advent of adolescence.

  1. I guess all men go through this phase of growing up to be a father of a daughter. Wonderfully expressed.
